Danube – The Blue River

The Danube River is a unique place reserved in world history. It has been featured important events in world history in areas such as natural history, ecological, political, economic, cultural and has even lent its name to the famous composer Johann Strauss waltz The Blue Danube.

It is also the longest in the European Union -2.860 kilometers and one of the longest in Europe, only surpassed by the Volga. This long European river crosses the territory of ten countries, where they take a different name.
