Belgrade International Airport, also known as Surcin Airport is the most important of Serbia. It operates with the main points of Europe, and concentrate most domestic flights, among other destinations. More than 2.6 million passengers transiting in 2008.

Location
Belgrade International Airport is located in the town of Surcin, 18 km (11 miles) west of downtown.

Shipping
Buses and taxis to the airport communicate with the urban area. Line 72 runs every 30 minutes and the journey to the center between 30 and 40 minutes. At the same time every hour express bus goes to downtown in 35 minutes. The taxi stands are located at the exit of the arrival areas of airport terminals.
