List of places visited in serbiaIt had been years since I visited several places in my home town of Belgrade and one of the most common reasons I usually use is that I do not have enough time. Well this year I’ve circled the dates on my calendar where I will visit some places of the most beautiful places in the city as well as some new places recommended by friends. Here is a list of places to visit and hopefully write about this year:

1. Kuca Cveca – or House Of Flowers – This is one of the most beautiful places in Belgrade and the creator of the former Yugoslavia Josip Broz Tito’s funeral. This is a very popular place to visit especially for tourists who come from Croatia and Slovenia but still is one place that symbolizes both the past and one of the greatest political experiment conducted in history.

2. Avala TV tower – is one of the places popular in the seventies and eighties, and it was destroyed by NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999. Belgrade tower that will be finished soon and hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy the most spectacular sights of Belgrade from the restaurant located at the top of the tower.

4. Hotel Jugoslavija in Belgrade
– recently renovated hotel famous for – the best Japanese food and even better Casino – Grand Casino (one of the largest in the world). Impressive to see, – this place is located right next to the river Danube, great service, great connection with the city center – what more could you ask for! I do not want to write here about Belgrade accommodation so if you want to know more about hotels in Belgrade, Belgrade apartment, or if you need a guide for Belgrade please visit some of these pages.

5. Townhouse 27 – a new boutique hotel opened in the city center. The place was very romantic and especially suitable for night Honeymoons and I had to check my friends who are interested in the topic:)

6. Usce Delta town and shopping center, Belgrade - either I can easily find a reason to visit one of the two largest shopping center in Belgrade – these are some of the coolest places to shop, especially now with all the discounts that I always wanted to stay longer . ..

7. Exit festival in Novi Sad – the mother of all festivals in the Balkans and one of the biggest festivals in Europe – I neglected festival for being too tourists but this year I’ll go over and visit the show prejudice.

8. Comfortable restaurant - the biggest Japanese restaurant in Belgrade – if you want to enjoy the food in Japan and feel the joy of service combined with the widest selection of wine and a fantastic program please visit the authentic atmosphere of this restaurant. Please visit the following page if you want to know more about the club or restaurant for Belgrade Belgrade

9. Museum of Nikola Tesla - one of the places I visited at least a decade ago – a famous scientist named serbian

10. Church of St. Petka – Kalemegdan fortress in Belgrade – one of the smallest and the churches of the most beautiful in the city – with the most beautiful mosaic icons I saw in the Balkans.
