Serbia were part of former Yugoslavia until 2006 and was a two-state corporation comprising four political units: two republics, each with its own capital (Serbia-Montenegro-Belgrade and Podgorica) and two subordinate provinces (Vojvodina and Kosovo).

The Republic of Serbia is located in southeastern Europe. It shares borders with Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia. It straddles the Danube river boat that provides communication between the interior of Europe and Black Sea. It has no coastline.

In Serbia you can find many landscapes, from Vojvodina, with its grassy plains, past the old south mountain areas where the Morava River and flows to areas with basins and limestone in the east.

Serbia is a country of great cultural diversity, as was found at the heart of union between four great empires throughout history: the Western Roman Empire and Eastern Roman Empire at first and then between the Ottoman Empire and Austria-Hungary. But the Byzantine culture was perhaps the most influence in Serbia has left: his religion, have their own Orthodox Church, Serbian Orthodox Church and still used, albeit a lesser extent, the Cyrillic alphabet. As a result of this influence most of the monasteries built in the Middle Ages in Serbia are visible features of Byzantium.

Serbia have few bars, are greatly influenced cuisine Turkish, Hungarian and Greek. In Serbia in particular Kebabs is one of the most popular dishes and meat stews with vegetables, steaks, grilled pork, liver, sausages and patties.

To visit Serbia depends on us to find. Of course, if you enjoy your skiing and winter sports can do less crude in the months since Serbia has a hard winter and heavy snow. However we recommend the hot weather for sightseeing and see the country, since summer is not excessively hot and that if prepared for rain, they tend to be moist.
