It is located 40 km southwest of Ivanjica and provides great opportunities for rest and recreation in virtually untouched nature. The highest peak is Jankov rock, 1833 m.

Since 2001. Golija mountain area was placed under state protection as a nature park “Golija”, which is classified in the first category of protection as a natural resource of great importance. Due to the preservation of native natural resources, but also because of cultural values, the MAB / UNESCO Committee in the Nature Park Golija declared a Biosphere Reserve Golija – Studenica.

At an altitude of 1408 m is the mountain home “Golijska river, in which part of the football field, sports grounds and tennis. A special attraction is a hike up stone Jankovog, Novica hills, and marked “path of health” long 3 km.

On the site Odvraćenica, 31 km from Novi Pazar, instead of the former mountain home, opened the hotel Golija. Golija slopes are very suitable for skiing, because winter full of snow and there are three ski slopes and two ski lifts.
