Serbia Travel Advice For Tourist

Serbia travel advice for tourist. on February 17, 2008 the Government of Kosovo declared independence from Serbia. The overall security situation in Serbia remains calm, though there is an increased risk of sporadic incidents and a high possibility of political protest. Some embassies and border posts have seen violent protests. Travelers advised to be extra careful when traveling around, remain humble and avoid public gatherings, political demonstrations, protests and polling stations, and watch local media reports.

Residual landmines and other weapons remain unexploded in Serbia. You have to be careful when traveling in Presevo and Bujanovac districts of South Serbia. (more…)
